Emergency Vet Nurse/Receptionist Woolloongabba

 

An opportunity for an Emergency Vet Nurse/Receptionist to join our AEC Woolloongabba team on a full-time or part-time basis. The successful applicant would be required to work various rotational shifts on the AEC roster, which will include evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.

About Your Skills & Experience

• A solid technical grounding in nursing skills
• An exceptionally high level of patient care and animal husbandry skills
• The ability to be flexible when required in a busy environment
• Ability to undertake emergency & critical care nursing tasks including hospital and surgical nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, pre/post-operative care & prep, clinical pathology and radiology

About your Skills & Qualities

• Certificate IV in Vet Nursing or equivalent is essential
• 3 or more years of experience
• Background and a keen interest in emergency and critical care
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills
• An amazing ‘can do’ team player attitude
