Welcome to the Animal Emergency Centre

The Animal Emergency Centres (AECs) provide premier after hours vet care to sick and injured pets with vet hospitals located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Our purpose is to save pets lives using the highest standards of emergency and critical care medicine and surgery, delivered professionally and compassionately.

The dedicated emergency vets and veterinary nurses of the AEC are highly qualified and skilled in pet emergency and critical care. We will provide you with an honest assessment of your pets condition and will work with you to tailor a plan that is appropriate to your situation. We understand the importance of your pet as a member of the family and will treat them with the up-to-date knowledge, care and compassion we would give our own pets.

The Animal Emergency Centres are fully equipped to care for any pet accident or emergency. Our pet hospitals are well equipped with cosy beds, full body system monitors (eg blood pressure, ECG, respiratory monitoring), advanced intravenous fluid delivery systems, surgical suites, X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, defibrillators, comprehensive laboratory facilities and mechanical ventilators.

The AEC pet hospitals are designed to function as an extension of the services already provided by your primary care vet clinic. We will communicate with your family veterinarian to provide comprehensive care of your pet - exceptional 24 hour vet care, 7 days a week.
